Mimi Gstöttner-Auer

Mimi Gstöttner-Auer (born April 7, 1886 in Innsbruck , Tyrol , † November 11, 1977 in Innsbruck) was an Austrian actress .

Life

Together with her father, the trained shoemaker Hans Gstöttner, her sisters Anna and Pepi Gstöttner and her brother-in-law Ferdinand Exl , Gstöttner-Auer was one of the founding members of the Exl stage . In its first performance on March 31, 1902 in the Austrian court, a production by Ludwig Anzengrubers , pastor of Kirchfeld, she played the role of the landlord's son Hans. While the older sister Anna Exl often played tragic roles, Gstöttner-Auer was mostly cast in the comedic subject.

In addition to her stage work, Gstöttner-Auer also took on roles in film productions such as Hans Steinhoff's adaptation of Geierwally with Heidemarie Hatheyer in the title role, Arthur Maria Rabenalt's millionaire inheritance and Ulli and Marei with Attila Hörbiger in the leading role.

Mimi Gstöttner-Auer was married to the actor Ludwig Auer , who also played on the Exl stage .
