Anna Godbersen
Anna Godbersen (born April 10, 1980 in Berkeley , California) is an American author .
She is the daughter of a taxi driver and a painter. After studying English literature at Barnard College , Godbersen took up an assistant position in the literary department of Esquire men's magazine in 2003 . In addition to her work as a book author, she also works as a freelance literary critic for The New York Times Book Review . Some of her works have been published under a pseudonym. She currently lives in Brooklyn , New York .
