Anna Krölin

Anna Krölin (* 1538 in Augsburg ; † August 10, 1589 there ) was a German Franciscan .

Krölin entered the order in 1563. In 1567 she became master of the Maria Stern monastery . The monastery, which had become obsolete after the turmoil of the Reformation and its temporary closure, brought new visitors. She had the monastery church rebuilt (1574–1576) and won over the renowned Fugger master builder Johannes Holl . The convent building was also renewed. When she died in 1589, she left the religious community strong. She was buried in the crypt of the monastery church.
