Anna Mons

Anna Mons , also Mons de la Croix ( Russian Анна Ивановна Монс ; * January 26, 1672 , † August 15, 1714 in Moscow ) was a mistress of Peter the Great .

Anna Mons was the daughter of the Westphalian wine merchant Johann Mons. Her siblings were Willem Mons and Matrjona, married to Fyodor Balk Major General and Governor of Riga.

From 1692 to 1703 she was his lover. She eventually fell out of favor. In 1711 she married Georg Johann Baron Keyserlingk.
