Anna Vinnitskaya

Anna Vinnitskaya (English spelling from Russian Анна Валерьевна Винницкая Anna Valerjewna Vinnitskaja , scientific transliteration Anna Valer'evna Vinnickaja ; born August 4, 1983 in Novorossiysk ) is a Russian pianist . She is professor for piano as a major at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater .

Life

Anna Vinnitskaya comes from a family of musicians. Her parents are also pianists, and her grandfather was a conductor. She showed musical talent at an early age and received piano lessons from the age of six. In the mid-1990s, Sergei Ossipenko became aware of her and offered her to attend his class at the Rachmaninov Conservatory in Rostov-on-Don . She then moved with her parents from Novorossiysk to Rostov, where she studied with Ossipenko from 1996 to 2001. She then went to Germany to the Hamburg University of Music and Theater, where she was taught by Ralf Nattkemper and especially by Jewgeni Koroljow .

From the age of 13 she took part in international competitions. She played with the Moscow Symphony Orchestra, the Dortmund Philharmonic , the Milan Symphony Orchestra and the Madrid Symphony Orchestra. She has given solo concerts in Russia, Germany , Ukraine , the United Kingdom , France , Norway and Spain .

On June 2, 2007 Anna Vinnitskaya was the second woman in the history of the competition to win first prize in the piano category at the Concours Musical Reine Elisabeth in Brussels .
