Annai is a municipality in the Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo Province in Guyana . The place is on the edge of the Rupununi savannah between the small mountains of the Pakaraima Mountains and the Rupununi River. The parish is located approximately 15 miles north of Karanambo and approximately 260 miles from Georgetown . Most of the inhabitants belong to the Macushi people . Light aircraft can land at Annai Airport.
