history
In the place of the church there was originally a church built by the Lutherans, which came to the Catholics in the course of the Counter-Reformation under the Habsburgs in 1654. The original structure was demolished in 1740 and the church was rebuilt in 1769. The founder of the new church was Antoni Goczałkowski, the then landlord of Nierodzim. The altar is from 1704 and the rococo interior is also from the 18th century. The church has been a listed building since 1929 and is part of the Silesian part of the Beskydy wooden architecture route .
