Józef Londzin (born February 3, 1863 in Zabrzeg , † April 21, 1929 in Cieszyn ) was a Polish Roman Catholic priest, politician, national and educational activist in Cieszyn Silesia , mayor of Cieszyn, member of the Austrian House of Representatives and Sejms, and senator.

After primary school in Zabrzeg, he attended the German middle school in Bielitz until 1884 and then the theological seminar in Olomouc , which he completed with the sacrament of consecration in 1889. He worked as vicar in Schwarzwasser and Ober Kurzwald , and from 1890 in Teschen. In Teschen he also ran Gwiazdka Cieszyńska , the largest Polish-language newspaper in Austrian Silesia. From 1897 he worked as a catechist in the Polish middle school in Teschen. He was a co-founder and activist of many Polish organizations (such as Macierz Szkolna dla Księstwa Cieszyńskiego , Dziedzictwo bł. Jana Sarkandra dla ludu polskiego na Śląsku, Polskie Towarzystwo Turystyczne “Beskid”, Związek Katolikląskich). Under his direction in Macierz Szkolna the Polish high school in Teschen was nationalized.

The first choice for Londzin was in 1902 for the Silesian state parliament , when he replaced him after the sudden death of Ignacy Świeży in the Teschen district . He lost the second seat in second aisle to the pro-German Franciszek Halfar, thanks to Czech voters. According to the newspaper Gwiazdka Cieszyńska, this election marked the definitive end of Polish-Czech solidarity. However, he became a member of the Austrian House of Representatives as a representative of the constituency of Silesia 14 in 1907 and 1911 . But Londzin lost spectacularly in the Silesian state election in the Bielitz district in 1909 to Józef Kożdoń , the founder of the German-friendly Silesian People's Party.

Initially in the XII. In parliamentary term, Londzin and Jan Michejda did not join the Polish club in the Chamber of Deputies because of the lack of their support for improving the emancipation of Poles in Teschner Silesia. Both joined the Polish club in 1913.

In 1918–1920 he was a member of Rada Narodowa Księstwa Cieszyńskiego (National Council of the Duchy of Teschens), in 1919–1928 a member of the Sejm , since 1928 senator and since 1927 mayor of Cieszyn.

Londzin died in 1923 and was buried in the municipal cemetery in Teschen.
