Anne-Marie Cotret
Anne-Marie Cotret (* 1930 in France ) is a French film editor .
Life
Anne-Marie Cotret first worked as an editor for Jacques Demy's short film The Wooden Shoemaker from the Loire Valley ( Le Sabotier du Val de Loire , 1956). She then worked with director Éric Rohmer on the film drama In the Sign of the Lion ( Le Signe du lion , 1959). This was followed by other film editing work for Demy, such as Die blonde Sünderin ( La Baie des Anges , 1963) with Jeanne Moreau and Die Regenschirme von Cherbourg ( Les Parapluies de Cherbourg , 1964) with Catherine Deneuve . Under the direction of Jean Aurel , Cotret was subsequently on the Oscar-nominated documentary Night Over Europe: 14-18 ( 14-18 , 1965), Uninhibited Manon ( Manon 70 , 1968) and Oh, These Women ( Les Femmes , 1969) for responsible for the cut. In addition to Demy and Aurel, she also worked several times under the direction of Jean Yanne in the following years . She was last active as an editor in 1985.
