Anne Bishop

Anne Bishop (born 1955 ) is an American writer . She lives in New York City and writes dark fantasy novels . In Germany she became known for her series Die Schwarze Juwelen , which has been published by Heyne Verlag since 2005 . For the first three parts she received the 2000 William L. Crawford Fantasy Award . The translator for the series is Ute Brammertz. The two-parter Die Dunkel Welten was also published by Heyne in 2007 and 2008, translated into German by Kristina Euler.
