Anne Marsh

Anne Marsh , née Anne Caldwell (* around 1799 in Staffordshire , † October 1874 in Lindley-Wood ) was an English writer.

She married the banker Marsh in London .

From 1834 Marsh began to anonymously publish a number of novels, almost all of which were translated into German, the main value of which is based on the portrayal of contemporary customs. In addition to these works of fiction, she also wrote non-fiction books such as The Protestant Revolution and translated the old French Roland song .

The writer Marsh died in Lindley-Wood in October 1874 at the age of about 75.
