Anne Spurzem

Anne Spurzem (* 27. October 1955 in Mayen ) is a German politician of the SPD .

Education, work and family

In 1974 she graduated from high school in Mayen. She then studied at the University of Koblenz-Landau ( Rhineland-Palatinate University of Education (EWH) in Koblenz ) for teaching at primary and secondary schools . In 1977 she finished her studies with the first state examination , after the legal clerkship followed in 1979 the second state examination. From 1978 to 1991 Spurzem worked as a secondary school teacher.

Spurzem is married and has no children.

politics

Spurzem has been a member of the SPD since 1972. From 1991 to 2006 she was a member of Mayen City Council . In the same year she was elected to the Rhineland-Palatinate Landtag as a member of the Mayen- Koblenz constituency, to which she was a member until 2011. From 1994 to 2006 she was also a member of the Mayen-Koblenz district council . Spurzem was the deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group. She was a member of the Committee on Economics and Transport and the Committee on Equality and the Advancement of Women. In addition, she was a member of the council of elders of the state parliament.
