Annegret Hoberg

Annegret Hoberg (* 1955 in Düsseldorf ) is a German art historian, author and curator at the Lenbachhaus in Munich.

Live and act

After studying art history, history and archeology in Tübingen, Hamburg, Paris and Munich , Hoberg received his doctorate in Tübingen in 1983 on the subject of the iconography of the Chronos figure in French art of the 17th and 18th centuries . From 1984 to 1987 she was a volunteer and participated in exhibitions at the Bavarian State Painting Collections in Munich. Hoberg has been a curator at the Städtische Galerie im Lenbachhaus, Munich, since 1987 , where she oversees the Blauer Reiter departments and the Kubin archive , and until 1998 also the graphic collection . She has published, for example, on the subjects of the Blue Rider , German Expressionism and their artists, and on Alfred Kubin . Together with Isabelle Jansen, she edited the three-volume catalog raisonné by Franz Marc between 2003 and 2011 .
