Anneliese Zachow

Anneliese Zachow (born August 3, 1947 in Hagen / Westphalia) is a German politician ( CDU ). She is married and has two kids.

education and profession

After graduating from high school in Bad Oldesloe in 1966 , she studied pharmacy in Bamberg and Braunschweig . After passing the state examination , she taught at a vocational school for pharmacy in Braunschweig. She then worked briefly as a pharmacist.

She is a member of the political advisory board of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Wasserwerke Niedersachsen und Schleswig-Holstein e. V. and member of the environmental council of the Lower Saxony Lottery Foundation .

politics

Zachow has been a member of the CDU since 1972. From 1990 to 2008 she was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament . There she was secretary in the presidium of the state parliament and chairwoman of the working group environment. She was a member of the Committee on Environmental Issues and an alternate member of the Committee on Social Affairs, Women, Family and Health . Zachow was involved in local politics for many years and was a member of the Wolfsburg City Council and the Hattorf-Heiligendorf Local Council .
