Annemarie Dengg

Annemarie Dengg (* 1920 ; † January 31, 2011 ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ).

Life

Dengg was from 1945 to 1965 diocesan and later central secretary of the Catholic youth workers as well as editor of the girls' magazine “Our Life”. In 1958 she became a teacher of shorthand and typing at the business school in Sankt Johann im Pongau . In 1964 Dengg became a member of the community council of Sankt Johann im Pongau, an office she held until 1974. In addition, from 1965 to 1981 she was district leader of the Austrian women's movement in Pongau .

In 1969 Dengg became a member of the Salzburg state parliament . She stayed that way until 1984. During her time as a member of parliament, she was, among other things, chairwoman of the welfare committee and the committee for school and culture.
