Annemarie Lehmann

Annemarie Lehmann , née Stöckl, (born January 25, 1938 ) is a German two-time world champion in field archery .

Life

She trained as a chemical engineer from 1955 to 1957 and worked from 1957 to 1959 in her husband's print shop in Munich . Afterwards she was a housewife and mother of two sons. She later ran her own handicraft shop where she lived in Eichenau near Munich. She and her husband (Klaus) Peter Lehmann practiced archery on the side, but they were more successful. Annemarie Lehmann was a member of the BCK Munich. After her active career, she joined USC Munich as a trainer and occasionally competed in competitions.

At the world championship on September 4 and 5, 1976 in Mölndal near Gothenburg , she was also world champion in the field bow / Olympic bow as on September 16 and 17, 1978 in Geneva . In 1980 in Palmerston North , New Zealand , she finished third. On June 11, 1979, she received the highest German sports award, the Silver Laurel Leaf .
