Annemarie Matusche-Beckmann is a German lawyer .

Life

She studied law at the University of Cologne , first legal state examination before the judicial examination office at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne , and at the London School of Economics and Political Science , supported by a DAAD scholarship . After completing his doctorate in Cologne with Ulrich Hübner , the legal clerkship in the district of the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court , second state examination in law before the State Judicial Examination Office in North Rhine-Westphalia and the habilitation at the University of Cologne with Ulrich Hübner, supported by grants from the Ministry of Science of North Rhine-Westphalia Venia legendi for civil law, German and European commercial and economic law as well as insurance law) she had lectureships a. a. at the University of Wuppertal , University of St. Gallen , University of the Saarland . She was a judge in civil matters at the Saarbrücken Regional Court until the end of 2005. Since January 2006 she has been a full professor at the University of Saarland , holder of the chair for civil law, commercial and economic law and private insurance law.
