Klaus Grupp

Klaus Grupp (born February 5, 1940 in Berlin ) is a German legal scholar.

Life

He studied law at the Free University of Berlin (1st state examination in 1965, 2nd state examination in 1969 in Berlin). From 1969 to 1970 he was a research assistant at the Free University of Berlin. From 1970 to 1971 he was a Research Assistant at the University of Georgia . After receiving his doctorate in 1971 as Dr. iur. utr. at the University of Cologne he was a research assistant at the Free University of Berlin from 1971 to 1975 . From 1975 to 1981 he was a research assistant at the University of Mannheim . From 1981 to 1987 he was a consultant at the Research Institute for Public Administration at the University of Administrative Sciences Speyer . After his habilitation in 1985 in Mannheim (with a study on "Economic efficiency control. On the historical development as well as on the current significance and the limits of a review of public financial management - especially within the framework of state supervision of corporations under public law - under the aspect of economic efficiency" ), License to teach constitutional and administrative law as well as constitutional history of modern times, he has been professor of public law at Saarland University since 1987 .
