Annerose Münch

Annerose Münch , (born March 21, 1939 in Weinheim an der Bergstrasse) is a former German foil fencer .

Life

Münch became a member of the local sports club TSG Weinheim from 1862, in whose fencing department she worked. Her coach was the Hungarian Pal Irànyi.

She was appointed to the German national fencing team and took part in the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo . Here, the German Olympic team in the women's single floret with Gudrun Theuerkauff , Rosemarie Scherberger , Helga Mees and Annerose Münch, which was not used, reached third place and thus won a bronze medal.

Münch received the silver laurel leaf together with the women's floret fencing team on December 11, 1964 . In 1968 she became German team champion in foil fencing with the team of TSV Weinheim, in 1976 she became German senior champion.
