Challement is a French municipality with 51 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Clamecy and the canton of Corbigny ( Brinon-sur-Beuvron until 2015 ).
geography
Challement is located about 55 kilometers northeast of Nevers on the edge of the Morvan . Challement is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lys in the north, Dirol in the east, Germenay in the south and south-east, Asnan in the west and Talon in the north-west.
