Reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017
As a result of the reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017, the area of the nine municipalities of Bazoches , Brassy , Chalaux , Dun-les-Places , Empury , Lormes , Marigny-l'Église , Saint-André-en-Morvan and Saint-Martin-du- Puy from the arrondissement of Clamecy assigned to the arrondissement of Château-Chinon (Ville) .
Instead, the area of the municipality of Montreuillon changed from the arrondissement of Château-Chinon (Ville) and the area of the municipality of Champlin to the arrondissement Clamecy from the arrondissement Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire .
