Vignol is a French municipality with 62 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Clamecy and the canton of Clamecy ( Tannay until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Vignolais

Vignol is about 56 kilometers south-southeast of Auxerre . Neighboring municipalities of Vignol are Teigny in the north, Nuars in the northeast, Saizy in the east, Monceaux-le-Comte in the south and southeast, Dirol in the south, Flez-Cuzy in the west and Metz-le-Comte in the northwest.
