Cuncy-lès-Varzy is a French municipality with 127 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Clamecy and the Canton of Clamecy (until 2015 Varzy ).

Cuncy-lès-Varzy is about 50 kilometers northeast of Nevers . Neighboring municipalities of Cuncy-lès-Varzy are Villers-le-Sec and Saint-Pierre-du-Mont in the north, Ouagne in the northeast, Saint-Germain-des-Bois in the east and northeast, Beuvron in the east, Parigny-la-Rose in the South as well as Varzy in the west.
The Via Lemovicensis , one of the four historical “ Paths of the St. James pilgrims in France ” , runs through the municipality .
