Courcelles is located about 50 kilometers south-southwest of Auxerre . The neighboring municipalities of Courcelles are Corvol-l'Orgueilleux in the north, Saint-Pierre-du-Mont in the east, Varzy in the south and La Chapelle-Saint-André in the west.
