Authiou is a French municipality with 44 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Clamecy and the canton of Corbigny ( Brinon-sur-Beuvron until 2015 ).
geography
Authiou is about 38 kilometers north-northeast of Nevers on the edge of the Morvan . Authiou is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chazeuil in the north and west, Chevannes-Changy in the east and northeast, Champlin in the southeast, Arthel in the south and Arzembouy in the southwest.
