Finn Ole Becker (born June 8, 2000 in Elmshorn ) is a German soccer player who is under contract with FC St. Pauli .

Life

Becker attended the Bismarck School in Elmshorn , which he graduated from high school in 2018.

He has two sisters and a brother.

Career

youth

Becker began playing football at TSV Sparrieshoop, for whom his father Dirk Becker had once played in the national league. He was a player at Holsatia Elmshorn until June 30, 2011 , from where Bruno Harnau, who used to work there as youth coordinator, guided him to FC St. Pauli. Thus, on July 1, 2011, at the age of eleven, he moved to FC St. Pauli .

In the 2015/16 season he played 15 games in the B-Juniors Bundesliga North / Northeast and provided an assist. The midfielder played in the A-Juniors Bundesliga North / Northeast for the next two seasons . Here he played 37 games, scored four goals and prepared two. He finished his last season in the A-Juniors Bundesliga North / Northeast for the U19 team of FC St. Pauli with 19 games, two goals and one assist.

Professional debut

On April 14, 2019, Becker made his debut under coach Jos Luhukay at the age of 18 in the 2nd Bundesliga , when he came on for Ryō Miyaichi in the 87th minute of a 1-1 draw against Arminia Bielefeld . He is St. Pauli's first employed professional in 2000.

In his second game on April 21, 2019 against 1. FC Heidenheim , he came on for Christopher Buchtmann in the 45th minute , but had to leave the pitch in the 72nd minute because of a yellow-red card . That was the first yellow and the first yellow-red card in his professional career.

Becker had his first starting eleven on May 3, 2019 in the away game against Dynamo Dresden .

National team

On November 12, 2017, Becker made his debut for the German U18 team under coach Guido Streichsbier at the age of 17 in a friendly . He was in the starting line-up in the 3-1 win against the Italian U18 team and was substituted for Nick Bätzner in the 70th minute .
