Career

Senger was trained at SV Eichede , Hamburger SV and Eintracht Norderstedt and then moved to the U17 of FC St. Pauli . The defender was active in the respective junior leagues for both the B and A youth teams, and he led the U19s as a regular player and occasionally as deputy team captain. After his first appearance for the second men's team, Senger became a regular in the regional league team from summer 2019 and was able to book 19 season games at the end of the season, which had been prematurely canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic . After head coach Jos Luhukay had already called him seven times in the second division squad, the defender was part of the back four in the starting line-up on matchday 30 in a 2-0 draw against VfL Bochum and was replaced after 74 minutes. By the end of the season, there were two more full-season appearances alongside Leo Østigård, as well as the signing of a professional contract valid until June 2023.

Personal

Senger successfully passed his Abitur exams in summer 2019 .
