Mert Kuyucu (born May 11, 2000 ) is a German soccer player who is under contract as a defender at FC St. Pauli .

Career

After Kuyucu switched from FC Türkiye Wilhelmsburg to FC St. Pauli , he played his first games in the B-Junior Bundesliga and A-Junior Bundesliga in the 2016/17 season . In the 2018/19 season he made his debut for the reserve team in the Football Regionalliga Nord on October 14, 2018 against VfL Wolfsburg II , when he came on in the 66th minute of the game. The game was lost 1: 3. In the 2019/20 season he became a regular on the reserve team and made his starting line-up debut against SSV Jahn Regensburg , which was lost 1-0 , on the 16th matchday of the 2nd Bundesliga , December 8, 2019 .
