Luis Ángel Coordes (born January 2, 1999 in Santo Domingo ) is a German - Dominican football player who is under contract with FC St. Pauli .

Life

At the age of six, Coordes was brought to Germany by his mother and first grew up in Norderstedt . Until then, he only spoke Spanish.

Career

In January 2014 Coordes joined the youth department of VfL Lüneburg and stayed with the club until June 2015.

On June 30, 2017, Coordes signed his first professional contract with FC St. Pauli , which began at the beginning of the 2018/19 season.

On May 12, 2019, Coordes made his debut under coach Jos Luhukay at the age of 20 in the 2nd Bundesliga when he came on for Jan-Philipp Kalla in the 61st minute of the 0-0 win against VfL Bochum .
