Sebastian Ohlsson (born May 26, 1993 in Gothenburg ) is a Swedish football player . He can be used in defense and in attack and is under contract with FC St. Pauli in Germany .

Career

Ohlsson started playing football at Qviding FIF in his hometown Gothenburg . Afterwards he was accepted and further trained in the academy of IFK Göteborg .

At the age of 19, the club awarded him to the third division club Örgryte IS , with whom he reached the quarter-finals of the Swedish Cup and was promoted to the Superettan as champions of the southern season. Following the loan deal, the defender was signed and played in 26 league games in the 2013 season . After relegation to Division 1, Ohlsson continued to be used regularly and was called up in the attack; In 2015, he scored 16 goals this season as well as four assists, which made him play a decisive role in the team's renewed promotion.

In spring 2017 Ohlsson returned to IFK Göteborg and was used for this for the first time in the top Swedish division . There he subsequently became a regular player and team captain and was back in the position of defender from the 2018 season .

On the 5th match day of the 2019/20 season, the Swede moved to Germany to the second division FC St. Pauli , who had already signed his compatriot Viktor Gyökeres on loan. He received a two-year contract with the Hamburgers.
