Lukas Daschner (born October 1, 1998 in Duisburg ) is a German soccer player who is currently under contract with FC St. Pauli .

Career

Daschner first played in the youth division for the Duisburg clubs SV Beeckerwerth and Hamborn 07 , before moving to the junior division of Bundesliga club FC Schalke 04 in 2010 . When he switched to the youth team at MSV Duisburg , he returned to his hometown in 2013.

After he was a regular player in the B and A youth areas, Daschner was used for the first time in the first team on September 2, 2016 at an encounter between the Niederrhein Cup and Post SV Solingen. In April 2017, the then 18-year-old signed a professional contract for the third division team. On May 20, 2017, he came on as a substitute for Zlatko Janjić in the last game of the season in a 5-1 win against FSV Zwickau in the 84th minute . So he was involved in winning the third division championship and the equivalent promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. In October 2017 he made his second division debut in the home game against Eintracht Braunschweig (0-0). He scored his first professional goal in the following season in September 2018 in a 3: 3 away game at 1. FC Magdeburg . At the end of the 2018/19 season , Daschner went back to the third division with MSV.

For the 2020/21 season Daschner moved to FC St. Pauli , with whom he received a contract until June 30, 2023.
