The Niederrheinpokal is the football association cup on the Niederrhein. It is organized annually by the Niederrhein Football Association . The cup is currently being held under the name RevierSport -Niederrheinpokal .
From 2016 to 2018 the competition was officially known as DERWESTEN.de Lower Rhine Cup , from 2013 to 2016 as otelo Lower Rhine Cup , from 2008 to 2013 as Diebels Lower Rhine Cup and before that since 1994 as ARAG Cup .

The participants, whose number was increased from 32 to 64 for the 2010/11 season, represent themselves from the associations belonging to the third division , the Regionalliga West and the Oberliga Niederrhein , all of which are automatically qualified for the first round, and the qualifiers the 14 district cups together. The number of qualifiers per district cup, in which the teams compete from the sixth class national leagues, depends on the size of the respective district.

The winner of the Niederrhein Cup is entitled to participate in the DFB Cup .
