Football Association Cup 1996/97

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The participants of the 21 national associations of the DFB in the DFB-Pokal 1997/98 were determined via the football association cup 1996/97 . The winners of the association cups were entitled to participate in the first round of the DFB Cup. The two associations with the largest number of members, Bavaria and Lower Saxony, also sent the losing finalists. Thus 23 amateur clubs qualified for the national cup competition via the association cups.
