DFB Supercup (women)
The women's DFB Supercup is a former competition in German women's football. The Supercup was played between 1992 and 1997 and then discontinued in favor of the Bundesliga season opening tournament . At the Supercup, the reigning champion met the reigning cup winner . If the champions have also won the cup, the defeated cup finalist moved up. In 1992, 1993 and 1995 the women's Supercup was held immediately before the men's Supercup .
Record winners are Grün-Weiß Brauweiler and FSV Frankfurt , each with two titles. In a total of six events, the champions won four times and the cup winners twice.
