Guipy is a French municipality with 240 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Clamecy and the canton of Corbigny ( Brinon-sur-Beuvron until 2015 ).

Guipy is about 52 kilometers northeast of Nevers on the edge of the Morvan . Guipy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Héry in the north, Pazy in the east, Vitry-Laché in the south, Saint-Révérien in the south-west, Neuilly in the west and Beaulieu in the north-west.
