Champallement is a French municipality with 49 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Clamecy and the canton of Corbigny ( Brinon-sur-Beuvron until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Champallementois .

geography

Champallement is located about 45 kilometers northeast of Nevers on the edge of the Morvan . Champallement is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bussy-la-Pesle in the north, Neuilly in the east and north-east, Saint-Révérien in the south and south-east, Moussy in the south-west, Montenoison in the west and Champlin in the west and north-west.
