Grenois is a French municipality with 97 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Clamecy and the canton of Corbigny ( Brinon-sur-Beuvron until 2015 ).

Grenois is located about 55 kilometers south-southwest of Auxerre on the edge of the Morvan . Grenois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Beuvron in the north, Talon in the northeast, Asnan in the east, Moraches in the south and southeast, Brinon-sur-Beuvron in the southwest and Taconnay in the west.
