geography
Villiers-sur-Yonne is about 40 kilometers south of Auxerre . The Yonne forms the northeastern municipal boundary. Neighboring communities of Villiers-sur-Yonne are Clamecy and Chevroches in the north, Dornecy in the north and northeast, Brèves in the east, Asnois in the south and southeast, Amazy in the south, Ouagne in the west and Rix in the northwest.
