The Canton Clamecy is a French constituency in the district Clamecy in Nièvre and the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté ; its main town is Clamecy , a representative in the General Council of the Département has been Jean-Louis Lebeau since 2001, re-elected in 2008.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Clamecy included the 14 municipalities Armes , Billy-sur-Oisy , Breugnon , Brèves , Chevroches , Clamecy , Dornecy , Oisy , Ouagne , Prémery , Rix , Surgy , Trucy-l'Orgueilleux and Villiers-sur-Yonne . Its layout corresponded to an area of 205.63 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 5805.
