The Canton Imphy is a French constituency in the district Nevers in the department of Nièvre and the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté ; its main town is Imphy , and Georges Eymery has been a representative in the general council of the department since 1992.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the six municipalities of Chevenon , Gimouille , Imphy , Magny-Cours , Saincaize-Meauce and Sauvigny-les-Bois belonged to the Imphy canton . Its layout corresponded to an area of 146.81 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 5832.
