The canton of Saint-Saulge was a French canton in the Arrondissement Nevers , in the Département Nièvre and in the Burgundy region until 2015 ; its main town was Saint-Saulge , the last representative in the General Council of the Département was Bernadette Larivé-Bruandet from 2008 to 2015.

The canton was 247.17 km² and had 3,279 inhabitants (as of 2006). It was on average 293 meters above sea ​​level , between 229 m in Rouy and 444 m in Saint-Benin-des-Bois .
