The canton of Montsauche-les-Settons was a French canton in the Arrondissement of Château-Chinon (Ville) in the Nièvre department and in the Burgundy region until 2015 ; its main town was Montsauche-les-Settons . Patrice Joly was the last representative in the General Council of the Department from 1992 to 2015 (re-elected in 2004 and 2010).

The canton was 342.69 km² and had 3,838 inhabitants (2006) (2006). It was on average at 571 meters above sea ​​level , between 277 m in Chaumard and 726 m in Planchez .
