Saint-Brisson is a French municipality with 264 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016: Burgundy ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Chinon (Ville) and the canton of Château-Chinon (until 2015: canton of Montsauche-les-Settons ). The inhabitants are called Beursonniers .

Saint-Brisson is located about 65 kilometers west of Dijon in the Morvan . Saint-Brisson is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Agnan in the north, Champeau-en-Morvan in the east, Alligny-en-Morvan in the south-east, Gouloux in the south and south-west and Dun-les-Places in the west and north-west.
