Villapourçon is a French municipality with 415 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Chinon (Ville) and the canton of Luzy . The inhabitants are called Villapourçonnais .
geography
Villapourçon is located about 63 kilometers east-southeast of Nevers in the Morvan . Villapourçon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Léger-de-Fougeret in the north and north-west, Fâchin in the north and north-east, Glux-en-Glenne in the east, Larochemillay in the south and south-east, Chiddes in the south and south-west, Sémelay in the south-west, Saint- Honoré-les-Bains in the west and south-west, Préporché in the west and Onlay in the north-west.
