Préporché is a French municipality with 206 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Burgundy ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Chinon (Ville) and the canton of Luzy (until 2015 Moulins-Engilbert ). The inhabitants are called Préporchéens .

geography

Préporché is located about sixty kilometers east-southeast of Nevers in the Morvan . Préporché is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Moulins-Engilbert in the north and west, Onlay in the north and northeast, Villapourçon in the east, Saint-Honoré-les-Bains in the south and Vandenesse in the west and southwest.
