Mont-et-Marré is a French municipality with 163 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Chinon (Ville) and the canton of Château-Chinon (until 2015 Châtillon-en-Bazois ). The inhabitants are called Mont-et-Marrois .

geography

Mont-et-Marré is located about 50 kilometers east-northeast of Nevers on the edge of the Morvan and the Canal du Nivernais . Mont-et-Marré is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bazolles in the north and northwest, Achun in the north and northeast, Aunay-en-Bazois in the east and northeast, Ougny in the southeast, Châtillon-en-Bazois in the south, Montapas in the west and Saint- Maurice in the northwest.
