Thaix is a French commune with a population of 50 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Chinon (Ville) and the canton of Luzy (until 2015: canton of Fours ).
geography
Thaix is located about 55 kilometers east-southeast of Nevers on the edge of the Morvan . Thaix is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montaron in the north and northeast, Rémilly in the east and southeast, Fours in the south, Cercy-la-Tour in the west and Saint-Gratien-Savigny in the northwest.
