Bazoches is a French municipality with 177 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Burgundy ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Chinon (Ville) and the canton of Corbigny (until 2015 Lormes ).

Bazoches is about 70 kilometers northeast of Nevers in the Morvan . Bazoches is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Domecy-sur-Cure in the north, Saint-André-en-Morvan in the east and north-east, Empury in the east and south-east, Pouques-Lormes in the south, Neuffontaines in the west and south-west and Saint-Aubin-des -Chaumes to the west and northwest.
