Empury is a French commune with a population of 83 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Burgundy ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Chinon (Ville) and the canton of Corbigny (until 2015 Lormes ).

geography

Empury is about 70 kilometers northeast of Nevers in the Morvan . Empury is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Bazoches in the north and north-west, Saint-André-en-Morvan in the north-east, Saint-Martin-du-Puy in the east, Lormes in the south and Pouques-Lormes in the west and south-west.
