Ouroux-en-Morvan is a French municipality with 617 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016: Burgundy ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Chinon (Ville) and the canton of Château-Chinon (until 2015: canton of Montsauche-les-Settons ). The inhabitants are called Ourouxois .

Ouroux-en-Morvan is located about 84 kilometers west-southwest of Dijon in the Morvan . Ouroux-en-Morvan is surrounded by the neighboring communities Brassy in the north, Montsauche-les-Settons in the east and north-east, Planchez in the east and south-east, Chaumard in the south, Mhère in the west and Gâcogne in the north-west.
